Autism Services of South Carolina Autism Division is recruiting compassionate, highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians(RBT).  The RBT's are the faces of our organization providing in-home, one on one intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Technicians implement the treatment plan designed by the Consultant and communicate the child’s progress to the treatment team.

Position Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to clients
  • Must have a reliable smartphone (that can be password protected)
  • Extensive travel is involved with position, RBT’s may be required to provide services in more than one county
  • ASSC  meets in both locally and in Columbia for mandatory staff meetings and training
  • A position cannot be offered until the following results are received back from HR:
  1. SLED check
  2. National Data Base (if from out of South Carolina)
  3. Sex Offender Registry Check
  4. DSS Child Abuse and Neglect Database Check
  5. CMS List of Excluded Individuals/Entities Check
  6. DMV Driving Record Check
  7. Verification high school completion (copy of diploma)
  8. Letter of Reference 

Education requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent. 


Pay Rate is $13 per billable hour
Pay Rate is $10 per non-billable hour
Pay Rate is $8 per hour for travel time between client appointments/visits
Reimbursement of mileage at .40 cents per mile between client appointments
Part-time employment with hours up to 29 billable hours per week
Staff are provided a separate phone number for ASSC use via the Google Voice App
Staff are provided with a $10/month reimbursement for cell phone/hot spot (paid at $5 per pay period)
